John & Tracy have become part of the community where they live in Quetzaltenango, and also share God’s love by social outreaches, such as facilitating donations of medical equipment to the local hospitals and clinics, and relief work during and after the many natural disasters – floods, hurricanes, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions – that they have lived through while on the field.
Years ago God spoke a small phrase, “connecting the right resources with real needs for eternal results.” Since then, God has opened doors for grassroots projects that were started and funded in record time by special donations from donors like you. These projects have made a huge difference in local communities, public health care, rebuilding after disasters and always lifting the name of Jesus high.
Another important part of their ministry is promoting and assisting in the CANICA orphanage in San Marcos.
CANICA was founded by a dear friend and pastor, Marco Pablo Sierra and the congregation of Iglesia Palabra en Accion in San Marcos. It is about an hour and a half drive from Quetzaltenango and even though there is a small distance between them, John & Tracy have fallen in love with the children that have found a home there. It is just another practical way of reaching out to the community and showing God’s love to the least of these.
As it says in 1John 3:18(NLT) “Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.”
They are now in the planning phase for future projects and you can be a part of making them a reality. If you would like more information about upcoming projects, contact John & Tracy for more information.
